    RHYTHMS OF SPRING

    March 30 – April 1, 2007

    $22 for Adults;
$11 suggested donation for children under 18,
$5 suggested donation for children under 5.

Betwixt & Between Community Center and Temple of Elemental Magick invite you to experience the Rhythms of Spring in Red Moon Grove at the lovely Circle Star Retreat. Feel the pulse of the Land as it manifests in drumming and dancing and chanting (oh, my!) as the first community village to arise in this Grove comes together under a waxing moon amidst the awakening rhythms of Spring!"

We invite you to be a part of this inaugural impromptu village; meet us at our hearthfire, let us guide you through the moonlit camp sites, join with us in our common area, our forest floor café, lend us your special skills and talents in one of our volunteer opportunities.

Join us on Saturday for a lively town meeting, morning meditations, and afternoon workshops on toning, drumming, and past-life regression.  Be entertained by an enchanting hafla during dinner.  Walk the Witches Way at dusk with the Professor of the Wyld, and a trail lighting ceremony with the younger ones.  Gather in the evening for  Ritual, Feast, and Revel.  Sunday we will gather for coffee and what’s left breakfast, have our closing ritual at noon, and pack out by 2pm.

Festival gates open at 3pm on Friday March 30 and will remain open until midnight. If you show up before then, please wait outside the gates until the registration booth is open. When you pull through the gates, proceed to the registration booth which will be clearly marked on the right hand side of the drive. Our registration/Hearth Fire team will greet you and ask you to sign a festival registration form and waiver. If you prepaid, your name will be on our Festival list.  If you are paying at the gate you may pay with cash or check only.

Each person with you will be required to sign a festival registration form and will be issued the appropriate festival badges. We ask all festival camping attendees to volunteer two (2) hours of time to contribute to the cooperation of the camp. If you pre-registered you have already chosen your volunteer department. If you are paying at the gate you may choose a department to help out with. The registration team will give you a list of departments to choose from.  Each person in your family should commit to a department for two (2) hours, including children.  We have special projects two and tasks for the younger children to help out with.

Fire tenders and woodcutters are asked to check with our Fire Lead and volunteer for the Fire Team.  We also have a special need for juvenile lamp lighters.

We have other volunteer opportunities in these departments:

    Kitchen (cooks, helpers)

    Hearth (watchers/guardians)

    Trash/Recycling (setup, supervise)

    Kiddie Campers (entertainment and workshops)

Please let us know if you have a special skill and need a volunteer opportunity  we haven’t thought of.

Everyone should wear their festival badges/wristbands for the duration of the event for identification purposes. When you have completed the registration process, please pull forward to the camp area to unload your camping gear.  Our hearthfire team will assist you in setting up. When you have unloaded your camping gear, please park in the designated parking area facing outward. If you did not receive a map of the appropriate camping and parking areas prior to arriving, you may request  one at the registration booth but we will have guides there to direct you.

    Some things to consider:

    1) No firearms are allowed on the Festival grounds.

    2) No illegal substances allowed (if you wouldn't do it in front of the police station- don't do it here)

    3) No RV's or generators.

    4) A biological or adoptive parent, no exceptions, must accompany children under age 18.

    5) No loud electronic music.

    6) Pagan standard time does not apply to festival schedule! Please expect all activities to be on time.

    7) Perfect Love and Perfect Trust is our motto, but please be prudent and keep up with your belongings.

    8) Our enjoyments can be offered to the holy beings, who will bless those enjoyments and return the blessings to us.

    9) Camping events are clothing optional. Please be respectful of everyone’s personal space. No means NO!
